including rent reviews, service charge disputes, interpretation
of lease covenants, alienation, nuisance, dilapidations
and landord's repairing obligations and rights of light.
We work closely with our commercial property, insolvency
and planning teams to offer clients a wide breadth of

We are able to offer a rapid response. Where necessary,
we guide clients effectively through more complex forfeiture
disputes.
Residential forfeiture and possession actions are handled
in a considered and incisive way. The group deals with
a large volume of such cases.

Arrears of Rent and Service Charges
Commercial and residential collection of rent and service
charge arrears is an important aspect of the group's
work. We have close links with the County Bailiff Group
and regularly deal with levying distress for rent.

| Business tenancy renewals |
| The group deals with a variety of often complex business
lease renewal claims, acting on behalf of both landlords
and tenants. We also have particular expertise in acting
for landlords seeking to obtain vacant possession of premises,
e.g. for re-development, and advising on strategy to achieve
that objective. |
| Residential long leases and enfranchisement |
| The group regularly advises on all aspects of enfranchisement,
including freehold acquisitions, lease extensions and
the right to manage, acting for both lessors and lessees. |
| Compulsory purchase order compensation claims |
| We have experience in acting in connection with compensation
claims, which has involved advising and representing clients
from the public enquiry stage through to a Lands Tribunal
hearing. |

| The group has a strong reputation in all aspects of
insolvency and receivership issues and works with the
firms insolvency team to offer real depth of experience
in complex matters. Peter Levaggi regularly lectures the
R3 Legal Forum on Property Insolvency issues and frequently
publishes articles in the Insolvency press. |
