mark portfolio creation and management through to worldwide enforcement

The Brands Registration team, led by Kate
O'Rourke, advises on the selection of brands and their registration
as trade marks and domain names. As part of this service, the team
will deal with all aspects of the registration of your chosen brands
as trade marks and designs where appropriate, whether in the UK,
the European Union, or further afield.
The Brands Exploitation team, advising on the commercialisation
of your brands, is led by Hamish
Corner. The team has considerable experience on a wide variety
of matters, including licensing, portfolio sales and acquisitions,
franchising, merchandising, marketing, advertising and sponsorship,
with particular expertise in the leisure, fashion, sports and publishing
sectors.
The Brands Enforcement team is led by Michael
Cover. The team advises on the enforcement of registered and
unregistered trade mark rights against others who encroach on a
brands' turf, either by accident or deliberate free-riding on the
back of hard-earned goodwill.
