This seminar will focus on developments in the above areas and will highlight some of the key considerations that commercial parties should consider.

This seminar should be of interest to company officers, finance directors and employees who are responsible for the negotiation and creation of commercial documentation and sales literature, as well as in-house lawyers.

Duncan Elson, Partner, heads the Guildford office as well as its litigation and dispute resolution team. He has over 20 years' experience of advising commercial organisations on their contractual dealings - from distribution agreements through to commercial agency agreements and individual shareholder agreements. Duncan is known for his "No-nonsense approach" and "practical advice" (Chambers and Partners Guide to the Legal Profession), Duncan is a rated leader in his field.

Stephen Burns, Solicitor, is experienced in general commercial disputes, arbitrations and mediations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. He has experience in commencing and contesting contractual disputes (including those which are multi-jurisdictional), shareholder disputes and other corporate related litigation.

Jamie Cartwright, Solicitor, handles contract and tort disputes of a commercial nature, as well as general corporate litigation and debt recovery matters. Jamie has a specialist interest in automotive industry disputes and acts for internationally known companies on both Claimant and Defendant litigation and dispute resolution advisory work.
