an impressive rise on 2006's record haul of 79 deals for £1.1bn.
In large part this was due to US corporate Yamana Gold instructing Simon
Gilbert on the UK aspects of a share and cash offer for US listed Meridian
Gold. A majority of the firm's other transactions were in the sub-£50m
bracket.

and in 2007 was involved in over 25 transactions totalling over £1bn.
