Charles Russell is committed to being a socially
responsible organisation.
The objectives of the Practice in this regard include
making a positive impact on the lives of members of the Practice
and the wider community of which it is a part.
We also aim to establish links with the local community. As
a practice we are developing a volunteering programme to enable
people at Charles Russell to be supported in volunteering
their time and skills, and to support their work/life balance.
This provides opportunities for staff to contribute and/or
volunteer time during their working week if they so wish.
Young Enterprise Scheme
Young Enterprise is a UK registered charity running a range
of business and education programmes for young people throughout
the UK. Programmes range from an opportunity for students
to set up and run their own company to teaching programmes
at primary schools aimed at providing pupils with an understanding
of the 'world of work'.
Charles Russell provides support in various ways. Partner,
Clive Hopewell, is Vice Chair of the Board of Central London
North Region which co-ordinates the various Young Enterprise
activities within the area. Charles Russell staff provide
assistance by spending a day in local schools delivering the
Primary Programme and regularly attending a local school to
give advice to students on the Company Programme.
